Hip Abduction Brace
ExoTec Hip Abduction Systems are economical hip orthosis which provide firm support and stabilization immediately following surgery and/or anytime during the rehabilitation process. Constructed of light weight polyethylene, the braces are height adjustable, offering custom fit and ultimate comfort for all patient shapes and sizes. Each brace system comes pre-assembled and is lined with hypo-allergenic synthetic chamois which can be hand washed as needed. To fit your individual needs, components can be ordered separately and combined.
The Infinity hinge, available on our standard brace, provides precise abduction/adduction settings at any location between -5 degrees and +25 degrees abduction plus adjustable flexion and extension ranges of motion.
The new Genesis hinge provides precise abduction/adduction settings between 0 degrees and +15 degrees abduction when standing, and uniquely abducts to +20 degrees when patients sit. The Genesis hinge, standard on the Escort brace system, can also be ordered pre-assembled on the full profile brace system as a replacement for the Infinity hinge and separately as hinge components only.
